![Smart Auto RankMath SEO Optimizer PRO This plan details the implementation for a WordPress plugin that automates SEO using RankMath safely when a user pastes content and sets a focus keyword. User Review Required IMPORTANT Preview Changes Mode: When the focus keyword is set, we will trigger an AJAX request that processes the content. Instead of immediately injecting the changes, we will present a floating "Review SEO Changes" panel or modal in the WordPress editor. This will show a summary of changes (e.g., links added, images optimized, TOC generated). The user must click "Apply Changes" for the modifications to be written to the editor. Classic Editor vs Gutenberg: Gutenberg uses block architecture (), while Classic Editor uses raw HTML. The backend logic will need a unified way or two paths to handle both safely without stripping HTML. We will parse HTML/DOM for Classic Editor and handle block structures specifically for Gutenberg. Natural Link Insertion: Links will only be added if a substring resembling the keyword or a related variation is found in the existing text. We will not forcefully append links. If no suitable anchor is found, the link step will be skipped to preserve natural flow. Proposed Changes Core Plugin Setup [NEW] smart-auto-rankmath-pro.php The main plugin file that handles initialization, enqueues editor scripts. Admin Options [NEW] admin/settings-ui.php Options to toggle Auto SEO, Image SEO, Internal/External Linking, TOC, and Debug Mode. Frontend Editor Logic [NEW] assets/js/editor-watcher.js Tracks changes to the RankMath focus keyword. If in Gutenberg: sends block data. If in Classic Editor: uses tinyMCE.activeEditor.getContent() to send HTML. Shows a "Preview SEO Changes" modal with proposed changes. Overwrites editor content only upon user confirmation. Backend Handlers [NEW] includes/keyword-engine.php Analyzes content and ensures keyword is in H1, first paragraph, and H2/H3. [NEW] includes/image-seo.php Implements unique templates for alt, title, and caption generation instead of repeating the same word. [NEW] includes/link-builder.php Scans text for phrases related to the keyword to naturally wrap in tags for kabocharecipes.com and related internal posts. [NEW] includes/toc-generator.php Scans headings and generates the TOC at the top, compatible with classic HTML or block structure. [NEW] includes/rankmath-handler.php Applies structured templates to generate SEO Title ("10 Secrets to Make the Perfect {Keyword}") and Meta description. Returns meta updates back to js. Verification Plan Manual Verification Install the plugin. Create a post with Gutenberg, set a keyword, view the Preview Modal, and apply changes. Verify RankMath score updates. Repeat the test in the Classic Editor to ensure full compatibility.](https://creativecrossstitch.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/04/Screenshot-2026-04-10-190746.png)
